I have a background in business and real estate marketing and have been working as a residential mortgage lender for the past several years. I work with all types of loan programs but have become especially knowledgeable with VA loans for veterans. After owning and managing a mortgage company in Wichita, I sold my business and began managing a branch of a nation-wide mortgage bank for a couple of years. I decided to join the team at Security Savings Bank so that I could continue my career by helping local people purchase their new home.

I served in the Persian Gulf during the early to mid 1990s. After completing my military service, I spent some time in school then entered the marketing world. I developed a small business specializing in marketing real estate which is what led me to the mortgage lending world. In addition, I have been married to the same wonderful woman, my wife Cathy, for many years and we are the parents of one teenager and two younger children. My wife truly is my best friend and my children are the joys of my heart. Together, we maintain a very busy and fulfilling life.
